We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming….

Rather than send out a bunch of replies, I’ll just post one message here.

Chris is back in the hospital, so we could use your well wishes!! We’re not sure if he will be sprung before the weekend is out or not.

Of course this has all flared up over a long weekend when no one is available so we are totally in the dark as to how they want to proceed.

The problem of course being that **I** am going into month end which means no time off. Add to this the complication of my knees and not being able to get up into the loft to throw down hay for the horses! :( This is not being an enjoyable long weekend!

If anyone local is up to helping out..or knows anyone who could use a few days work..it would be greatly appreciated!!

You know how to reach us!

Oh, Shelley and Chris, I’m so sorry to hear of yet another hospital stay. I’m a bit far away to help physically, but send the best of thoughts.

  2. Jinnie Says:

Hope Chris is better soon and the Hay gets tossed.

Oh dear, this does sound less than fun. And for once it hasn’t been raining! Rats.

That’s awful. I hope he feels better soon. Shelley - this week is crazy with beginning of term stuff, so I have to be here, but if you’re still in a bind after the weekend or even the next week let me know and I’ll see if I can come up to help out.

Oh my! If only I lived closer and could help :( This seems to be a bad time for a lot of people I know right now!

    Thanks everyone.

As you can see from Janet’s liink, she is up here helping out fofr a few days which is greatly appreciated.

They sent Chris home yesterday afternoon from the small satellite hospital, with pain killers, and at 5 a.m. we were headed up to the major centre an hour north of here where the surgeon is based because he was in severe pain despite the medication.

New hospital, new staff, once again going through the story of the past 5 months all over again. New doubts (is this some addict in looking for drugs???). Finally I went to the desk and said will someone give him SOMETHING for the pain. Just after that he started throwing up blood, and THEN they took it seriously.

He’s been admitted after a procedure toay, and ultrasound reveals a severely enlarged gall bladder. They will try to bring the infection down, or need to do surgery to do so tomorrow.

Thanks everyone for your prayers and wells wishes.

    Shelley
